Imitation Hard Enamel

These pins offer brilliant color and fine, raised-metal detailing. The recessed areas of your custom designed pin are hand enameled and then kiln fired. Each pin is hand polished and then plated. The end result, a truly outstanding product at a very affordable price.

The imitation hard enamel (IHE) pin is also known as imitation cloisonné.  This process has been around since the mid-1980's and is less expensive than traditional cloisonné because it is cheaper to produce.  Another advantage is the imitation enamel pins can use over 1000 colors in the Pantone Matching System*.

A traditional cloisonné product has 120 colors to choose from, so the imitation hard enamel is often the better choice for your product.
